Our Story
Paired-back, rustic, harbourside luxury
A working waterfront, turned dining room
Walsh Bay, between the Harbour Bridge and the theatres.
Lavana sits where the Walsh Bay piers meet the water — the bridge to one side, Roslyn Packer Theatre to the other, and the harbour doing most of the talking.
Our kitchen leans Mediterranean and shops close to home: Mooloolaba prawns, Humpty Doo barramundi, Junee lamb, Riverine beef, Pepe Saya butter, Darling Mills herbs. Small plates arrive first and keep coming; the grill and the handmade pasta do the rest.
However long you have — forty minutes at lunch, or a whole evening as the light goes — the intention is the same. Good food, a proper wine list, and a view worth staying for.
